Our Story

Born from the conviction that Gainesville deserves a place where craft isn't a trend — it's a standard.

Sun Terrace Cafe started with a simple frustration: everywhere we went, something was compromised. Either the coffee was excellent but the atmosphere was sterile, or the space was beautiful but the drinks were an afterthought. We refused to accept that trade-off.

Today, we've built a space where the barista's precision and the mixologist's creativity share the same counter. Every bean is roasted to order. Every spirit is sourced with intention. Every dish on the menu is designed to pair with the moment — whether that's a quiet morning with a single-origin pour-over or a Friday evening with a smoky mezcal cocktail.
